Don’t Stretch Beyond

This morning (22-03-2014) again there was a rhetorical talk by Suki Sivam on Sun TV. I wonder why he unnecessarily attacks Owvaiyar and thereby several such poets who used some illustration to make their point clear to their audience.

Owvaiyar, in order to criticise those poets who write without proper knowledge of grammar and other technicalities about writing poems, compared them to a turkey trying to stretch its feathers and dance like a peacock.

According to Suki Sivam, this is an outright attack and criticism on the turkey by Owvaiyar and she has no right to do so—however great she might have been. Continue reading
